Church was organized April 14, 1889. Church was disbanded November 22, 1930. Church reorganized March 31, 1934

Sample Minutes:

Sunday, July 31, 1949, an ordination service in connection with the fifth Sunday meeting was held at the Mt. William church. Bro. Ed Hutchinson and Darrell Dotson were ordained to the gospel ministry. The ordination council was composed of Rev. W. D. Dotson, moderator, Rev O. E. W. Thorn, interrogator, Rev H. B. Strickland, Rev Raymond Straight, Rev. Perry Parsons, Rev. L. E. Springston, Euell Scott, clerk, Van Taylor, Guy McCoy, Bill Dye, G. B. Newlon, Virgil Cheuvront. There were six ordained Baptist ministers and six deacons representing eight Baptist churches who sat in the council. Rev. O. E. W. Thorne delivered the ordaining sermon, Rev Raymond Straight gave the charge to the candidates, Rev H. B. Strickland gave the charge to the church, Rev Perry Parsons offered the ordaining prayer.

Rosena Hall Memorial

This is in remembrance of Sister Rosena Hall, who passed from this life Feby 21, 1937, leaving a vacant place in her home and community that can never be filled. The all wise master has called her home but we who loved her can meet her again in the land where partings never come. Sister Rosena was a member of the Mt. William Church for 33 years, she was a faithful Christian and a mother to all young people. By those who knew her best she will never be forgotten as long as life shall last. In her passing her family has lost a loving and devoted mother and the church a faithful member. To the family we extend our sincere sympathy. Resolved that a copy of this memorial be sent to each of the children and place on the church record.
