*This is written to John Franklin "Frank" and Amanda Stroud Bolar Rigney. I'm
almost certain it's from Mary Hutchison. Mary's mother was Mary Ann Rigney
Hutchison, Franks younger sister. She married Robert Hutchison in 1872. On
the 1880 Lincoln Co., KY census there were two children listed, William F. and
Perrelda. Mary Ann died about 1887-1888 and Robert remarried to Sallie Edwards.
On the 1900 Lincoln Co., KY census Robert and Sallie had been married 11 years,
these are the children listed: Amanda age 17, James age 15, Flory(?) age 9,
Lillian B age 6, Josie C age 3 and Bessie age 2. MaryHutchison is listed with Frank
and Amanda in their household age 12, niece. This is not the first letter I've found addressed to "Mother and Father" I do not at this time know who Mary's husband is, I only have a first name of Mike. Once I do I will post it here.
