Mrs. J.F. Rigney
Stanford, KY
*The only information I have on the writer of this card is that her name was Mary and her husband's name is Mike.
The only daughter that Amanda had was with her first husband, William Henry Bolar, her name was Mary, but she died as a baby.

Here is what I have discovered from the census...

The youngest daughter of George T. and Mahala Jones Rigney was Mary Ann Elizabeth Rigney b. Nov. 7, 1849. She married Robert Hutchison Dec. 8, 1872. On the 1880 Lincoln County, Kentucky census Robert is listed age 29, Mary age 30, William F. age 3 and Perrelda age 1. Robert Hutchison remarried Sallie Andrews Dec 27, 1888

On the Lincoln Co., KY 1900 census Robert is listed with his wife of 11 years Sallie, children listed with him are: Amanda age 17, James age 15, Flory(?) age 9, Lillian B. age 6, Josie L age 3, Bessie C. age 2. Of the two children listed in the 1880 Lincoln Co., KY census, both are married. William is listed with his wife Lucy and one son, Herman. I have not found Perrelda yet.

There is also another daughter, Mary, age 12, living with her Uncle John Franklin (Frank) Rigney his wife Amanda Stroud Bolar Rigney, their son William H. Rigney and his wife Mariah Underwood Rigney. These are my great, great grandparents and great grandparents. The postcard written to Frank and Amanda Rigney is addressed to "Father and Mother" I believe she lived with them all her life.

If anyone has any information on these people please contact me at WVMystica@aol.com.
