Naomi Christine Rigney (nee McQueary) died Monday September 9, 2003 at Tri
County Extended Care in Fairfield Ohio. She was born in Casey County Kentucky
on May 10, 1920. Her parents were Warren B. and Minnie E. Holder McQueary.
She is survived by two sons, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceeded in death by her husband Clifford Rigney her daughter Vicki Rigney Kremer, brothers Marvin and Dallas McQueary and sisters Flora Richardson, Mabel McAninch, Cloda Tolley, and Ina Jewell Terry. Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Monday September 22, 2003 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield is serving the family. Christine was born and lived in Casey County, KY but moved to Cincinnati Ohio before
she was 10. Later her family moved back to Casey County where she met and
married her husband Clifford Rigney and they in turn, moved back to Cincinnati
where they raised three Children. |

She loved to cook, and worked as a cook at Longview Mental Hospital where she retired
from. She always made the best chicken and dumplings, coleslaw and fried
apples. Her fried apples were delicious! Every Christmas she would make
candy and cookies. She was the most caring and loving person, she was
the type of person who was worried about everyone else. After she had her bypass
surgery she got pnuemonia and didn't come out of it for a while but when she
did the first thing she asked was, "Are the kids ok"? We all miss her terribly...
