Ruby was a good friend of my Mothers, I remember as a child she helped me memorize
my address and phone number. I have no further information at this

Ruby McConahay, 73 Ruby Dexter McConahay, 73, of Lafayette, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2004, in Rosewalk Village. Born Sept. 16, 1930, in Remington, she was a 1948 graduate of Gilboa High School in Benton County. She lived in Fowler and managed a snack bar and custard stand until moving to Lafayette in 1965, where she worked at Howard Johnson's Restaurant. In 1982, she moved to California. She returned to Lafayette in 2000. Surviving are a daughter, seven sisters; and a brother. |
McConahay, Ruby A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, in Stitz Funeral Home, Remington, the Rev. Jacqueline Foley officating. Inurnment Remington Cemetery. Survivors include a grandson, and a sister-in-law. Preceded in death by a brother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation of Fountain Park Chautauqua, Remington. |
