According to the Civil War Penson File of Joab Rigney, Jr. Ransom and Albert Rigney
were the sons of him and his wife Sallie Rigney. Joab's Pension File is posted
on this website, as well as Sallie Rigney's will. Joab and Sallie had one other child, a daughter, Annie Lee who married Henderson
