Sr.'s headstone. It is not in a cemetery, but on his farm. The word "cemetery"

He came to Casey County, KY from TN. Joab's headstone is still standing and is easy to read, even today. There is a second headstone next to it, but it isn't standing anymore and to all outwards appearances, not readable and is worn smooth. It is reportedly the headstone of his wife, Mary Anna Godbey, but we may never know for sure. |
Joab Rigney Born July 28, 1796 Died April 22, 1877 He was a good and honest man as through life he trod. His heart was warm as any childs he feared no one but God. |
