William Ireland of Brodwell

 

Memorandum that at or about the 23th day of June Anno Dni 1642 William Ireland Late of Brodwell in the Diocisse of Gloucr deceased did in the presence of divers credible Wittnesses, make & declare his last Will & Testament Nuncupative in effect as followeth. He bequeathed to his two sonnes by a former Wife William & Richard Ireland five poundes a peece, & this He ordered to be payd by his Wife, out of such Goods as he left behind him: He likewise bequeathed a Lease of his House in Brodwell to his sonne Robert Ireland, whom he had by his second last Wife, which Robert is since deceased / & the rest of his Goods he appoynted to his then-Wife Emma Ireland for the maintenance of her selfe & Children. This is the effect of the Last Will & Testament of the afore-sayd William Ireland, as farr as the witnesses whose Names are subscribed can call to remembrance.
