In the Name of God Amen being the fifteenth day of August Anno Domini 1668 and in the Twentieth Yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord Charles the Second King of England Scotland France and Ireland Defender of the Faith ete I William Heaven of Deerhurst in the dioces of Gloucester winter being weake and Imperfect in body by reason of old Age butt in good and perfect memorie Thanks be given unto Allmightie god doo here make and Ordeine this my Last Will and Testament and in manner and forme following Imprimis first I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie God and unto Jesus Christ my savior and redeemer hopping by his merretts to have my soule saved and my sinnes forgiven me And of all my worldly Goods that god in his mercie hath given mee I doe dispose of as followeth Item I doe give and bequeath unto my sonne William Heaven the sume of five shillings and all my Loumbs with all the Appurtenances and the matterials thereunto belonging and appertayninge but not the ground where the Loumbs doe stand which I doe leave unto my Executrix Item I doe give and bequeath unto my daughter Alice Vynon fourtie shillings to be paid by my Executrix and foure dishes of Pewter of the midle sorte of pewter one brasse kettle being the next unto the two bigger kettles one drinke barrell one paire of Hempin sheetes Item I doe give and bequeath unto my daughter Margret Heaven my dwelling house backside and garden with rest of the premises with all the appurtenances therunto belonging or appleying during her naturall life wherein I now live with all the rest of my goods Catle and Chattles as well moveable and unmoveable whom I doe now make my whole And sole Executrix of this my last will and testament she paying my debts and legacies before bequeathed and my funerall Expences discharged and I doe utterlie renounce and revoke all former wills gifts and bequeaths by me formerly made seald and delivred And further my will is that if in Case my daughter Margret my Executrix shall deliver up my said house and the rest of the Premises unto my sonne William Heaven Contorarie unto my will and testament after the decease of mee the said William then to give her five shillings and noe more and I doe make my daughter Alice Vynon my whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and testament she paying my debts and legacies and funerals Expences dicharged Item I doe make and ordaine my wilbeloved friends Rise Hoald and Thomas Hemminge both of this parish to be my Overseers of this my last will and testament giving them five shillings for theire paines to see all things well and truely to be performed According unto my true Intent and Meaning.
In wittnes whereof I the said William Heaven have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written 1668.
