In dei noie amen. The xvth day of May in the yere of or lord god. 1561. I Rychard Blyssard of Laberton in the prishe of Buckland wthin the diocis of Glouc beyng syck in body yet nevrtheles in prfect Remembrence thanks be to god my saviour doe ordeyn & macke this my laste wyll & testament in maner & forme folowyng viz Fyrst I geve & bequethe my sowll into the hands of Xpe Jesu my saviour by whose death & passion I truste to be saved & non other wyse And my body to be buryed in the Churcheyard of Buckland aforsayd whereunto I am a pryshonere when yt shall please god to call me / Itm I geve to Margery my dowghter xxxti li of lawfull money of England / two kyn / ten yewes / & thon therd prte of all my house hold stuf / Itm I geve to John my yongar sonn xxti li of lawfull money of England / thon half of all my teme wth the half horsegerse, Carts, plowes, & harowes & The on half of all my corn both in the barns & in the fylds / and an other therd prte of all my household stuf / My will ys yt the sayd goods wch are geven to the said John shalbe delivered to him when he cometh the age of xxti yeres and the sayd goods wch are geven to the sayd Margery shalbe delivered to her at the day of her mariag Further if eyther the sayd John decease before he come to the age of xxti yeres / or the sayd Margery decease befor the day of her marriage, that then the longar lyver of them to have all the above sayd goods / Itm I geve to he Churche of Buckland vj s v d to prepare it wthall / Itm I geve to the Chapel of Laberton iij s iiij d to Repare it wthall / Itm I geve to every poore householder wthin the pryshe of Buckland iiij d & on whop pf whete / Item I geve to John Bruckeholdinge vj li in goods or in lawfull money of England / Itm I geve to John my elder sonn vj li xiij s iiij d of lawfull money of England / Itm I geve to Rychard Blissard sonn of John Blissard vj li xiij s iiij d of lawfull money of Engand yf the sayd Rychard decease befor he com to the age of xxti yeres my wyll is yt the sayd vj li xiij s iiij d shall remain to John mi elder sonn Itm I geve to Rychard Blisard my brothers sonn xvj d Itm I geve to every on of my godchildren – xij d / Itm I geve to John Payn to Harry Pyper to Edward Gylks & to Catheryn Issard twoe chilvere shipe apece The Rest of my goods & Cattells (not geven nor bequethed) whatsoever it be quick or dead moveable or unmoveable holly & folly I geve & bequeth yo Maud my wif whom I doe ordain & macke my full & holl executrix she to pay my legaties & dettes & bringe honestely unto the earthe my Corps Itm I doe constitute & apoynte Thomas Blyssard Wyllm Muche  & Thomas Mansell to be overesears & supervisors of this my testament & last wyll to se my will prformed herin conteyned And I doe geve to eche of them for theyr payns therin x s Itm my will ys that my son John the yonger & Margery my dowghter shalbe ordered by my wif & my sayd overseares or else to lose theyr therd prtes of household stoft above expressed
