Richard Cooke of Ucington, Elmstone, yeoman

 

In the name of God Amen I Richard Cooke of Ucington in the Parish of Elmstone in the Countey of Gloucister yeoman doth make my last will and Teastement in manner followinge First I bequeath my soule to almightie God the giver of all Thinges and my bodie to the Earth from whence ytt came For all my goodes I bequeath as followeth First I give to my daughter Alles in muney five poundes to bee payde within one yeare After my Decease Item I give to Walter Cooke my sonne sixe poundes Tene shillings in muney to bee payde within to yeares After my Deceasse Item I give to William Cooke my Seconde sone Seaven pounde and Ten shillings to bee payde within three yeares After my Decease Item I give to Richard Cooke my thirde son Eight pound to bee payd with too yeare after my Decease all which leageceyes is to bee payde by mey wife whom I make Executor of this my laste will and testament and doth giver hir all my goodes and Chatteles yeat unbequeathed duringe hire life and after hire decease I give my house all and singular in Arle to Walter Cooke my eldest sone and tho his eayeres Duringe the whole tearme and Ife Eyther or aney of the Childrene shall happen to dey before they shall come to the Age of thirteen yeares the portion is to remaine and to bee devided betwene them that are then livinge For Overseers of my will to see every thinge performed I appoynt Richard Cooke and Walter Cooke Thomas Whit and William White and whome I give for theyr paines sixe pence apeece
