In the name of god amen the eight
day of February in Ao 1609 I Margaret Hawker of Apperley In the
countie of Gloucr wydow being sick in bodie but of good & prfect memorie
thanks be to allmyghtie god doe make my last will & testamt
in manr & forme
following First & principally
I bequeth my soule to almyghtie god my Creator hoping by soule the
merits death & passion of his dear sone & my redeamr
to be saved And as concerning my bodie to be buried in Christian
bureall And as concerning my temporall goods I gyve unto Johan my
daughter my blacke cowe Itm I geve unto my daughter Ales my Read
heyfer Itm I geve unto Richard my sone my black heifer And whereas
I am indebted to my said two daughters & to my sone Richard
in the some of Tenn shillings wch was geven unto them by the last will
& testamt of
one Anne Gasse deceased my will is that in respect of this my gyft
to them herein bequeathed that the said tenn shillings to them due be discharged
by this gyft Itm I doe also geve & bequeath unto my daughter Ales
one[?] fether bed and boulster one pair of sheetes & one Canvas &
one coffer one --- --- And my best gowne Itm I geve unto my daughter Johan
my best peticott and one flock beed one boulster one paire of sheets one
coffer & a Canvas & a Canvas one coffer & one Itm I geve unto
my sone Edmonde wyef my mydle peticot Itm I give unto my sone John
one coffer --- bill ---- And I do geve unto Edmond my sone one Cal---
& ij wagens And I geve unto Thomas my sonne my other wagens
& tenn shillings of money And the rest of my goodes unbequeathed I
doe geve unto my sone Edmond whom I do make my sole executor of
this my last will & testamt
he payeinge the xxs to my two
sonnes before bequeathed & to --- --- my --- --- funerall expenses
