In the name of god amen I Lawrence Hampton of Wightfeld wthin the prishe of Dyrehurst and countie of Glouc yeoman beinge sick in bodie but of good & prfecte remembrance thanks be to the almightie god for the same doe maker my last will & testamt in manr and forme followinge first and principally I bequeth my sowle to almightie god my Creator hopinge by the death passion & merits of Jesus Christ his deare sonne & my redeamr to be saved and my bodie to be buried in Christian burial And as concerninge the dispocon of my temporall goodes First I geve & bequeth to Edward Hampton my sonne five pounds Itm I geve & bequeath to John Hampton my sonne five pounds Itm I geve & bequeth to Johan Bingley twelve pence Itm I geve & bequeth to John Carpenter twelve pence Itm I geve & bequeth to John Hampton my Brother my best Clock All the rest of my goods moveable and unmoveable unbequeathed my debts & funerals first paid I geve & bequeth to Jane my wief whom I doe make my sole executrixe of this my last will & testamt Itm I do appoint my welbeloved brother John Hampton to be my oversere that my will be prformed accordingly

Itm to Edward Hampton & John Hampton my two sonnes I doe owe twentie shillings apece wch was geven to them by their grandfather deceased
