John Heaven of Frocester

June the xxiiij 1645
In the name of God Amen. I John Heaven of ye pish of Frocester in the Countey of Glocester beeinge very weake & sicke in body but of pfect memory (thanckes bee to God) doe make my last will & testament in manner as followeth
First I commend my soule into the handes of my mercifull Lord trustinge to bee saved by the alone merits of the Lord Jesus & my body to bee buryed in ye Churchyard of ye sd pish when it shall please God to call mee hence disposeinge of my worldly goods & substance as followeth.
I give and bequeath to William my eldest sonne one kowe
It to Anna the daughter of the sayd William a weaneinge calfe
It to John my second sonne a kowe & ye Colt
It to my sonne Thomas a kowe and twoe yearlings & a bedde with the appurtenances & a drincke vessel.
All ye rest of my goods & chattels moveable & unmoveable I bequeath to my daughter Anna whome I make my whole & sole Executrix Appointinge my brother Richard Heaven & Richard Hallinge my overseers for the due execution of ye prmisses.
