In the name of God Amen the one and Thyrtieth day of Januari Anno dni 1631 I John Hampton of Weightfield in the prishe of Dearehurst in the Countie of Gloucr yeoman sicke in bodie butt of good and prfecte memorie laud and praise be geiven unto Allmightie god doe make & ordayne this my last will & testament in manner & fform followinge that is to saie, ffirste I commend my soule into the hands of god my maker hoopinge assuredlie through the merits of Jesus Christe my Savioure to be mad partaker of life everlastinge, And I Commend my bodie to the yearthe whereof it was made Item I geive and bequeath unto my Sister Ann Heath the wife of Walter Heath of Turley two shillings in money to be paid prsently after my deceasse, Item I geive and bequeath unto Edmund Hampton my brother Lawrence Hampton sonn Two shillings in money to be paid prsently after my deceasse, Item I geive and bequeath unto John Hampton my brothers other sonn Two shillings in money to be paid like wise prsently after my deceasse Item all the Reste of my goods and Chattells moveable and unmoveable my debts and legacies paid my funerall expenses dischardged I geive and bequeath unto Johan my wife whome I doe make my whole executrix of this my last will & testamente: And In witnes here of I the sayd John Hampton have to this my laste will & testament putt my hand the day & yeare ffyrste above written:/
