In the name of god Amen. I Joane Philtow of Dearhurst in the counti of Gloucester Widow beinge sycke in Body but of perfect memory thankes be to allmighte god for it: first I give and be queth my Soull unto the prtection of god who made it & redeemde it: and my body to be buried in Christiã buriall in the Earth from whence it Cam / and all my wordly goodes as followeth

 

first I geve and be queath unto Joann Coxxe my daughter in Lawe the deads yeare for the bringinge up of her children paying out of it unto Richard Cox her sõ five nobles: & to Margett Coxx her daughter forty shillings in the name of thayr: Grandmothers gift: allso I give to my Daughter law Joane Coxx the standards in th--- house in ye --- a cofer that was Richard Coxxis deseased & that is in him Except the second best payr of sheets to Richard for sõ: and a bord cloth and the beast payr of sheets unto Margett Coxx her daughter allso I geve and be queth to my daughter law the bead that shee lyes on & all that belonge to her: and my great pott and my little pott & a little dabnet and the ould whey ketherne & a other litel ketles & the frinthon & the gredine a payer of ondirns & a little broch: mor ovr geve & bequeth to my daughter law Joann Cox the --- best plater & 2 sawcers i canstick i solt selor: and my russet colord gownd & my middly cloke / I geve and be queth to her: 2 coolles. 2 payls: i dawe scills & a litle scille & a mille choull: & i hogs head: 3 drink barells in ye chambar a litle ould i at ye Farr rend: all these things aforesayd shee shall use dewringe her life and then to remaine to her son Richard and Margett Cox / I give & bequeath to Richard Coxx my godson the sãll bord and all that belonge to him as farm & bench: and to his sister Margett ye --- bead steed & ye --- old cofer at ye beds sted  and ye pott hocks & lincks to thayr mother: if was not thoght on before

 

I geve & be queth to my Daughter law Isabell Coxx a flock bead a baster a bead healinge & one sheet and a holiday pettycote: a napcene a wast cote & a French[?] pety cote a parthat & acar chew / allso I give and be queth unto my god daughter Mary Evenis my beast payre of sheets & ye bord coth with coventary blue: unto Joann 2d beast payr of sheets & to John Evenis my godsõ ye 3d best payer of sheets & a querne & a malt mill & ye great ketherne: & ye silver ---- Joanne and ye great dabnet to Mary & --- basone / & y 3d beast platr to Joane 2d beast platr to Mary I geve and be queth to Mary Kemet a plater & a smock.

Md that all these things wch I have be quethed to my godsõ Richard Coxx and Margett Coxx if Richard deses before he be marid then I give to Margett Coxx his Sister: but if it fall out so that Margett decease un marid before Richard then I geve her portiõ to Richard Cox allso the things that I have given & bequethed unto the children of John Evenis severally: yt is if it saie to John Evenis & Joane & Mary that if John decease unmaried then I geve his portiõ to his 2 Sisters: and of thay or ether of them die then I geve to the longer liver of them if they die unmarid.
