The Twenty-seventh day of March Ano Domi 1649 Joane Hawker of Wightfield in the Parish of Deerehurst and County of Gloucr Singlewoman, sicke in body yet of an able disposinge memory made and ordained hir last will and Testament nuncupatively after this manner. First shee gave unto Margaret Cooke the daughter of hir sister Jane Cooke Twenty pounds. It shee gave unto hir Nephew John Cooke hir said sisters sonne Tenne pounds It shee gave unto hir brother Giles Hawker Tenne pounds. It shee gave unto hir sister Anne Hawker Five pounds. It shee gave hir wearinge apparel betweene hir two sisters Jane and Anne. It shee gave all hir other goods (exceptinge one flockbedd) to hir brother Giles, hir sisters Jane and Anne aforesaide, to be divided betwixt them. It the flockbedd before excepted shee gave unto hir uncle William Millard. And all these thinges were so disposed of in the presence of these witnesses.
