In the name of god amen in the yeare of our lord god 1609 and In xv daye of January I Henry Pyxseley of the prishe of Derehurst in the coontie if Gloucr husbandmane beyng Sicke in bodye but of good and perfecte memory prayse be unto allmyghtye god my maker / havyng before myne eyse the certayne transmutacyon on mane assured to death and uncertayne of the tyme, Invocattynge the End of the holy ghost doe make this prsent testament contaenynge my last will in maner & forme followynge, first and principally I give and hartelly comende my soull to Allmyghtye god the Redemer thereof wth his pressious bloud most humblye besechynge hyme mersifully to accept the same in to the numeber of the company of heaven and my bodye to be buride in the churche yard of Derehurst as consernyng my worldely goods It I give & bequethe to Richard Pyxseley my brother xv li to be payd to hym at Saintmarye Daye next coming & one myllhouse & the moste myll after the deyses of Alice my weyffe and all my tacke belongyń to husbandrey after her deses or weydowe state & on tabell borde wth a Cesterne after her weydow estate It I do give & bequethe to Ric my brother my best dubled & my best coute & my beste bryches & my best hate & my best clocke It I bequeth to Rychard Wodley forty sheyllynges to be payd to hym ij yeares after my desses It I doe give & bequeth to my Syster Allice v s It I do give & bequethe Ańe Pyxseley daughter to John Pyxseley on parsell of ground by estymussyon halfe nacker lyinge in Aperley Jonynge to hill field to her & her eyres for Ever & on brace pot & on flockbed wth all that belongs to the sayd bed It I give to my god sones xij d a peesse It I give Willym Jackson one shipe It I give to the poore of the prishe iij s iiij d It I do give to the Reperassyon of the churche of Derehurst iij s iiij d It all my goods & cattell not bequethyd I Doe give & bequethe to Alise Pyxseley my weyffe whome I do make & ordayne to be my executryxe of this my last will & testament to see my will executed It I do put in trust my welbeloved in Christ Willym Poope & Willym Flocke to be my overseeres of this my last will & testament & for theyre paynes taking I do give the ij s a peese
