Georg Pixley of Wightfild, Dearhurst, yeoman

 

In the name of God Amen the fifte day of May 1623 I Georg Pixley of Wightfild in the pashe of Dearhurst in the County of Gloucr yeoman Being sicke in body but of Good and pfect memory laud and praise be given unto Almighty God I doe make and ordayne this my laste will and Testament in manner and forme fowlling That si to say First I commend my sowll into the hands of almighty God my maker and redeemer hooping assuredly through the merits of Jesus Criste my savior to be made ptaker of live everlasting and I commend my body to the Earth whereof it was made And for my worly Goods first I Give and bequeth to all my God Children Twelfe pence a peece Excepte Georg Prisse of Hardwicke and for all the Rest of my worly Goods unGivene and unbequethed I give and bequeth to Johan my wiffe my funeral Expences Discharged and so I doe Constitut and apoynt my wiffe to be my whol Execetrix of This my last will and Testament and so I do ordayne and apoynt my well be loved frinds for overseers of the same John Hampton John Flouck and Thomas Flowcke and for theyre paynes Takeing therein I Give them Twelfe pence a peece George Pixley his marke
