In the name of God Amen I Edmund Halsy of Staunton in the County of Worcester yeoman being in good mamery do hereby make my Last will in manner following first I give and resigne my soul into the hand of Almighty God my maker hoping to be saved through the merits and death of my saviour Jesust Christ my body I commit to the Earth to be decently intered by my Executors here after named and as for my worldly Goods I Dispose of as followeth Whras I obliged my selfe by Article to pay or leave to my oun Wife at my death Eighty pounds in money besides such goods as are mencaned in the said Artickle and Whrsas I have Laid out the said Eighty poundes in the Purchase of Copyhold Estate at Ashton for my own Life and the Life of my daughter in Law Ann Pitt & her Two Children to which Estate my wife will be intitled for her Life by the Costome of the mannor if she Survives my I do give her my wife the deade year of The said Copyhold Estat after my death and the profott and advantages thereof and also I give her all the Goods and things in the Arttickles menconed and such as are in the house wheron I now live Ecept one bedsteed And the hangings that are now up in use ascron and A Coffer only and I give my son Thomas Halsy one shilling and to my Daughter Mary Stock I give ten Pounds and I give fortey Poundes to my Daughter Anne Halsy and all the rest of my goodes and my Cattell Chattells And Parsnall Estate I give to my son William Halsy and make him Executor thereof and I revoke all outher Willes in witness whereof I have hear unto put my Hand and seal the Eighth day of November Anno Dom 1731
