In the name of god Amen the fowerth day of June in the yere
of oure Lord god 1624 I Dorothie Guy of Derehurst on the
Con of Glouc beinge sicke in bodye but in good and prfecte memory thanks
be given to almighty god for the same Doe make my last will and testament
in maner and Forme Followinge First I give and bequeath my soule into the
hands of almighty god my maker and redeemer / Trustinge through the merits
of the death and passion of my savior Jesus Christ to be saved and my body
to be buryed in Christian burial, And as Concerninge my worldly goods I
give and dispose of them in manner followinge Item I give and bequeth to
my Granmother Margarett Goodridge the some of xli
Itm I give unto my Aunte Maude Goodridge the some of xli
Item I give and bequeth unto my Cossen Edward Pie the some of twentie
pounds to be ymployed prte there of to bynd him an apprentice and the rest
to remayne in my executors hands to the use of the said Edward till
such tyme as he shall accomplish the age of xxjtie
yeres. Itm I give unto my Cossen Anne Guy my best petycote Item
I give unto my Cossen Bridgett Pie

7 June Dorothy Guy desired that her mother should have her best petycote & that her Cossen Anne Guy should not have hirs, and one wish it might be soe put in her will when her father in law come home or to that purpose
