I Anthony Cox: of Dearhurst in Com Glouc being sicke of body but of perfet memory: I thanke my lord and savior for it: first I give & comit my soull into the hands of my Lord & savior wc have redeemed it: & my body to the Earth to be buried in Christian Buriall

 

Allso for my worlly goods I geve & bequeth as followeth first I geve & bequeth to my sonn Richard vli at the end of ten years after my decease and the half Aker of Free land when it falleth: also I geve & bequeth to my daughter Marget vli at ye end of ten years after my decease: more ovr I make my wif Joann wholl Execkrix of all the resedue of my goods moveable & un moveable: but if so be shee mary againe: then shee shall pay them vli a peece more: At her day of marriage to be payed

 

For debtes that be owing to me first Jacob Garet oweth me xxxvs & Mr Mory of --- 15s & Mr Pary ----: & of my Brother John Evenis xiiijs:

 

Mor ovr I am indepted unto John Hampton of Wieghtfield xxxvs viiijd and to Rould Roberds 20s: to my mother 46s 8d: and: againe I owe to my mother of Rent Ten pounds at Lamas vli of it & at folower day vli being ye 3d day of May: mor ovr I owe to my mother of corne half a way of wheat 12 bushells & of barly 12 bushells to be paid at Candlemas next 6 of wheat & 6 of barly: & at that time 12 months the other 12 bushels & of this my last will and Testament whearof my wife is the exectrex I ordaine and make my uncle Roberd Man and Roulands Ovrseeares to see my will Executed and donn and of this my last will & testament in witnesse hearof I have put my hand & seal Even the Twenteth day of Joun annq. dni 1617
