the yere of oure lord god 1579 I Thomas Flocke of the pishe of Derehurst
in the countye of Glocr husbandman being sick in bodie but of good
and perfecte memorye prayse be unto allmyghty god my maker, havinge befour
myn eyes the certeine tranmutacion of mane most Assured to Deathe and uncerteine
of the hower, Invocatyng thend of the holye goste Do mak and ordeine this
present testament conteyninge my last will in manr and forme folowyng,
fyrst and principall I geve and hartelie commend my soule unto allmyghtye
god the redemer therof wth his presyous bloud most humble besechinge
hyme mersyfullye to accept the same in to the noumber of the holly companie
of heaven and my body to be buryd in the churche yard of Derehurst. It I
geve and beqethe to Roger Flocke my sonne all the yerrable land and
the crope of corne of that land that I toke of Thomas Flocke the younger
Duryng the lease It I geve and beqethe to Wyllym Flock my sonne one
parsell of yereabll land called Storme Hill and the strawe to be spente at
my Dwellyng house It I geve and beqethe to Robart my sonne on Aker
of medow leying in Myddell Mede that I toke of Thomas Flock the yonger
Duryng the lease It I geve and beqethe for mendyng of the churche waeye xijd
It all the Rest of my goods not bequestyd I do geve to my iij sonnes Roger
Flock Willym Flock and to Robarte Flock to be Deveydid to them
by even portyenes after the Desses of Annes Flock my wyff, and if Aney
of my sonnes hapene to dey before he have Reseaved his porsyone then his
part to Remayne to the longer lyver of them by even porsyone - except the
be maryed Detes owyng to me of Thomas Flock xs, of Mr Richard Bangen iiij of wheat & a lode of barley straw I owe to my mayde seruvant xxxiiijs I owe to Mr Richard Bangen vs It I do put in truste my well beloved brtherne in the lord to be
overseeres of this my last will and testament Roger Flock Willym Heaymes
