John Flucke of Tewkysburie
In dei noie amen the xxiijth daye of the moneth
of Decemb in the yere of or lord god a thousand fyve hyndreth fyftie
and eight I John Flucke of Tewkysburie in the dyoces of Gloucr
beyng sicke in bodye nevertheless of Good and pfect remembrance thankes be
to god do make and ordeyn this my testament herein conteyning my last will
in manr and form folowyng First and cheffelye I bequeth my Soule
in to thandes of almyghtie god my maker savyor and redemr
and to or blessed lady Saynt Mary the Vrgyn and To
all the holy companye in heaven my body to be buried in the church yarde
of Tewkysbury foreaid and I geve and bequeth to the repacion of the same
church my pishe church xijd also I geve
and bequeth to Mrgeret my wif the bede that she brought
wth her wth a covrlett a pere of blanketts
a bouster a pere of shets And all her owne weeryng Gere and iijli
in money also I geve and bequeth to Willm my yongest Sone a cowe and
xls in money Also I geve and bequeth to Edmunde Flucke my
brother my Lease of my aker of meddow wch I hold of Dannyell
Pert gent Sett lying and beyng in Senrnehm[?] nigh to the keye
and allso my will is that the said Edmunde my brother shall have my
Gorne the wch was Willm Boullens cutler decessed paying
therfore To my children xls in money also I geve and bequeth to
John Gase ijs all the residue of my Goodes cattelles
detts & money of what kynde or name So evr they be knowen
or called neyther geven or no bequeathed moveable or unmoveable my detts
payed and my funrall expence dyscharged and borne of the same
I holy geve and bequeth to my fyve chyldren John Thoms Willm Mrgeret
and Anne to be equally devyded emangest them porcon Lyke
and to be delyvrd untothem by my Executor or his Assignes as accomplyshe
thage of xviij yeres and in the meane tyme all the said Goodes cattles money
and detts to be put unto honest menes handes by my executor to the best behof
of my same children tell they accomplyshe the full age aforeaid and if it
happen any of my said children to dye before they do accomplyshe the full
age of xiij yeres as is aforesaid then my will is that his her or their porcon
or porcons shall remayne to the Survyvor and Survyvors
of them to be equally dyvded emongst the porcion lyke and further my will
is that my executor hall synde my two youngest Sones To shole
upon ye charge of theyr legacyes and the vantage of their stocke tell they
can wrytt and rede & cast acounpt able to be prentyces and my will is
that my brother Edmunde Flucke shall have thoccupancie of my howse
I dwell in for all the yeres yet to cm that he may the bettr brede
up my said children wch children I put undr the Govrnance
of the said Edmunde my brother Whom I make and ordeyn my sole Executor
to pforme this my testament and last will and I geve unto hym for his paynes
to be taken in that behalfe vjs viijd and I devise
my lovyng neighbours Richard Harley and Willm Hervey
to be ovrseers to see this my testament pformed and
done and I Geve to eyther of them for theyr paynes to be taken
in that behalfe iijs iiijd Thes beaying wytnes Robt
Fysold Rychard Harley Willm Hervey and John Gase
