In the name of god Amen in the xxv daye of September in the yere of our lord god 1580 I Geylys Flocke husbandman at this present instand in the pishe of Derehurst in the countye of Glocr beynge sick in bodye but of good and perfect memory prayse be unto allmyghty god my maker havyng before my eyes the certeine transmutactacion of mane most Assured to Deathe and uncertein of the hower invocatyng thend of the holy gost Doe make and ordein this present testament conteyning my last will in maner and form folowing fyrst and principall I geve and hartely commend my soule unto Allmyghtye god the Redemer therof wth his presyous bloud most humbly besechinge hym mersyfully to Accept the same into the nomber of the holy companie of heaven and my bodye to be buryed in the church yard of Derehurste It I geve and bequethe to Willym Flock my sonne iiijli of lawfull money of England to be payd unto hym at Michaelmas come xij month It I geve and bequethe to Joane my Daughter viijli vis viijd of lawfull money of England to be payd unto her at her Age of xxx yeres and one and one bearyng sheet one pere of flaxsone sheets It I geve and bequethe to Thomas Flocke my elder sonne of that name xli of lawfull money of England to be payd at his age of xxx yeres It I geve and bequethe to Edward m yonger sonne of that name xli of lawfull money of England to be payd at his age of xxx yeres It I geve and bequethe to Jhon my sonne xli of lawfull money of England to be payd at his age of xxx yeres It I geve and bequethe to Thomas my yonger sonne of that name xli of lawfull money of England to be payd at his age of xxx yeres It I geve and bequethe to Robart my sonne xli of lawfull money of England to be payd at his age of xxx yeres Also my very will and meaning is that if Aney of my sayd chyldren shall happen to Decess before his her or theyr sevrall legacyes shall be Due than the part or porcion of them so Decessing shall Remayn to all the Rest of my chyldren Equally to be Devyded Amonge them. All the Resydue of my goods and cattell not befour geven and bequestid, I geve and wholy bequeth to Edward my Elder sonne of that name whome I do make the onely executor of this my last will and testament, And I do Desyer Thomas Smyth Edmund Hampton Jhon Cartynter and Willym Fluck to be ovrseers of the same and I geve to evrye of them for there paynes ijs vjd Apece
