I found these marriage records for Greene County at the library:
Israel Woolsey married Betsey Newberry on April 23, 1812.
Israel Woolsey married Rebecca Collier on July 7, 1853.
Rebeckah Register married John Colyer on October 28, 1806.
And here's the 1850 and 1860 census for Israel Woolsey:
1850 Census, Greene County, TN, Division 9, page 269
Isreal Woolsey age 62, born Tennessee, farmer, 3500 in property
Elizabeth Woolsey, age 63 born North Carolina
James Woolsey, age 28, born Tennessee, farmer
Mary Woolsey, age 25, born Tennessee
1860 District 17, Greene, Tennessee, Post Office: Graysburgh, Page: 367
Isreal Woolsey, age 72, born Tennessee, farmer, 10,000 of real estate,
4000 in personal estate
Rebeca Woolsey, age 74, born Tennessee
I'm thinking Elizabeth died between 1850 and 1853, and that then Israel married widow Rebecca. I have not looked at cemetery records, but would like to.

Esther Womack sent pdf files she believed was from a book entitled "First Settlers of Tennessee" copied at Greene Co., Tn. library.
States: Woolsey, Old Woolsey Cemetery, located on Upper Lick Ck. Woolsey settlement. The earliest Woolsey I see listed here is Israel Woolsey 1788-1871 w Elizabeth (dates not readable). Israel would probably be the s/o John & Sarah Woolsey (John d. 1819). Israel inherited 50 acres on Pyburns Ck. Adjoining Simon Pope in the ur 1819. Elizabeth would probably be Elizabeth "Betsy" Newberry b/c 1790 who m Israel in the yr 1812 Gr. Tn.
