13 May 1799.        Elizabeth Smith Extrx & William Denning Exor of Thomas Smith late of City of New York Esqr dec'd who was the last surviving exor' of the Hon. William Smith formerly of the City of New York also deceased of the first part and Simion Wood of Orange Co, NY whereas the said William Smith in his will bearing date 24 May 1769 that his exor's etc to sell in fee simple & did nominate his sons William, Thomas, John & Samuel to be his exor's and whereas the said William Smith, John W. Smith and Samuel Smith, sons of the said William Smith, etc are dead and died in the lifetime of the said Thomas Smith whereby the said Thomas Smith became the last surviving exor etc and whereas the said Thomas Smith is also dead and in and by his Will executed 16 Oct 1795 did appoint his wife the said Elizabeth Smith Extrx & William Denning Exor etc now therefore this INDENTURE for the first part for three hundred & seven pounds sixteen shillings paid by party of 2ndpart that lot in patent of Cheescocks in Orange County called Lot 36 begin at a white oak marked with three notches on four sides and numbered 28 on NE side & 29 on SW side etc crossed a branch of the Ramerpo river etc containing 150 acres etc. Wit: Thomas Smith, Joshua Clives & John Embree, Sam Smith Pro: 13 May 1799. Mr. Baldwin and Juliana his wife late Juliana Evertson and sister of the said Elizabeth Williams. 4th. All that part of the estate of Elizabeth Williams, decd begin at edge of the E Division road etc to that part of said Mathews estate heretofore allotted to Thomas WATERS and Bridget his wife etc - 30 acres to Thomas Waters and Bridget his wife who is a sister of said Elizabeth Williams. 5th.
