Approximately 7,000 reels of popular microfilm, including some multicultural newspapers, are available (about 15 per- cent of our on-site reference microfilms). TO IDENTIFY REELS: Researchers must consult the Catalogue at their community library or research institution to identify which specific reels are needed. If your community library does not have a copy of the Catalogue, the library may request one from our Interloan Service. HOW TO ORDER: Submit your request for microfilm reels through a community library/research institution which uses the Interlibrary Loan system. If you need copies of documents from the microfilm, please submit your loan request at an institution which has a microfilm reader/printer machine; the microfilm must stay in the borrowing library. Requests must cite the Microfilm Reference # as indicated in the Catalogue, and brief identifying information (e.g.,MS 658 Reel 230, Township Papers, Kingston,ca. 1783- 1870).Incomplete requests will be returned.
