I did see an error in my
mother's maiden name. It should be shown as Bernie Wilma Tingle and not
Bernice. Bernie is an unusual name and I can see that one might think it
was too odd to be accurate, but...it is!
I printed the lineage that
you sent and will study it for a while.
I think it is odd that when
my husband and I moved to Chouteau from Tulsa, we found a neighbor who
has become a friend and he is Billie Dale Snodgrass, born in
1928. He said he knew very little about his family. I was
confused right from the beginning. I think he said that Robert
was his grandfather's name. The grandfather married Sally
Rush. There is some connection to Pryor Creek, Oklahoma
which would likely be in Mayes County and that's about all I
learned. I'm not sure who his father was but the name Bruce
was in there somewhere. He thinks there might have been some
family members in Western Arkansas, possibly Siloam Springs or Clinton,
AR. I think our friend is getting a little fuzzy around the edges if you
know what I mean. Of course, I am too so I should not talk. If you
have any ideas about how we might locate his family, let me know and I
will try to investigate further.

Our computer crashed
a few days ago and things have been in a mess. We have a new computer and
are glad to be back.
Wow! You
certainly do get things done in a hurry. I called the adopted son
(Robert) of Billie Dale Snodgrass and you have done it again. Bobby
and his wife Cindy, recognized some of the names. I will get this to
Billie Dale tomorrow. He and his wife Sandy live near a tiny town called
Mazie but the phone number is from Chouteau. I know he will be thrilled
to learn about his family! I don't believe they are on the internet but I
will be the go between if that helps.

I think I have looked at the
information you sent for such a long time, that I just can't see anymore.
I thought that I saw Billie Dale Snodgrass in print somewhere
but I can't find it now. I called Sandy (Billie Dale's wife) and told her
of your find. She is thrilled and will share with Bill when he comes
home.
As I understand, Billie Dale (Bill) and Sandy each had a
previous marriage. Bill has two daughters by his first marriage and a son
with Sandy. Sandy has a son, Robert, by her first marriage, whom
Bill adopted and of course, her son with Bill. There are children and
grandchildren, one to be born today! I know
they will be happy to share more with you. Sandy tried to locate all of
Bill's family through someone in Muskogee, OK but I don't think it was very
successful. Bill doesn't even know names of his brothers. This will
be wonderful. They don't have a computer so I will be happy to print
and deliver anything to them.
When we get calmed down from
the excitement of this, let's visit about our possible
connection? This is just mind boggling to me. It must take a very
clear mind to process everything. My head is whirling already!
