Half-brother of Kit Carson and foreman at the Rancho Sotoyome in Sonoma. This is where Cowie and Fowler were headed, to get gunpowder, during the Bear Flag Revolt when they were murdered, and Moses Carson is the person who buried them there, beneath a pine tree.
