Mormon tea plant

Mormon tea is used as a diuretic for afterbirth pains and many other things. Also Mormon tea was used as a hot drink by pioneers in the West in place of coffee or regular tea.

On the trail to Long House we learned about some of the plants used by the cliff dwellers

Pinyon Pine

The wood & the nuts were only some of the uses for the pinyon

Broadleaf Yucca

Yucca  fibers were the primary weaving material making nets, baskets, mats, rope shoes
