The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bounden David Brown hath been charged by Peggy Willson a single woman of begeting her with child wihich is a bastard now in case the said David Brown shall make his personal appearance before the justices of the county court of pleas and quarter session to be held for said county in Morganton on the fourth Monday of this Instant to answer the above charge and --- will and truly abide by and perform what shall be enj---- by said court and not depart the same without --- them the above obligation to --- and otherwise to ----- in full force and virtue. 23 March 1822." attest A?
