"for over 70 years a resident of Dunn county... passed away at his home on the north side of the village Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock, after being in poor health for the past three years. ...was born in Genefeo [Geneseo], Illinois, October 30, 1860, the son of Steven G. Dalton and Rachael Withrow. After spending ten years of his youth in Illinois... On November 22, 1885, he was united in marriage to CLarissa Louella See at the home of his sister, Mrs. Shipley, Bloomer. Preceding him in death was his wife, who passed away several years ago. Surviving are two brothers and one sister as follows: Steven Dalton, Chetek; William Dalton, Bend, Oregon, and Mrs. Amelia Divvers, Eugene, Oregon. One son and two daughters survive; namely: Arthur Dalton, at home; Mrs. Viola Eliason, Sawyer, and Mrs. Lilliam Tieta, New Auburn... Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Dalton home at 12:30...Popple Creek cemetery...".

Glenwood City cemetery... born in Bloomer Prairie, May 28, 1876. She was married to Peter St. Louis and to this union two children were born, DeWayne, this city, with whom she made her home, and a daughter Louise (Mrs. I.J. Haines) Milwaukee. Her husband passed away in 1933. She is survived by her son, Dewayne, and daughter, Mrs. Haines, and four grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Alma Johnson, Owens."

"Date of birth was March 27, 1870 and date of death was September 7, 1949 in Pendleton, Umatilla County, Oregon at Eastern Oregon State Hospital. The length of stay there was 7 months 3 days. He died from Senility and lymphosarcoma. His place of residence was Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon. It is listed that he lived at the County Infirmary in Bend. All information that I have (word of mouth and obits say William Thomas Dalton lived in Bend, Oregon). He was cremated. Occupation is listed as a carpenter".
