Mary and Catharine. the girls were married they are all dead many years ago. these girls lived near where Uncle Joseph lived. Benjamin was my fathers name. Cousin Mary told me that her father said that he had a brother Banjamin and that he had often tried to find him but he never could. Uncle Joseph Boger was a wagon maker. he had a farm near the coal mines and after he died cousin John sold that farm and bought a farm away from the coal country they have a man to do the farming. they are to old to do much work. John Mary and Rebecka live together on the farm I write to Mary. I hav'nt heard from them for six months I dont know if they are all living I wrote to Mary this week All this that I have wrote to you Mary wrote to me. they are pretty well fixed for living. but they are very old people...". Smith, 309 West 12th Street, Tyrone, on Saturday afternoon at 12:55 o'clock. Biography*		"The cases against James A. Gafney whose trial was postponed from last Tuesday to today, were continued until the March term of court on the plea of his counsel, Linn Phillips, before Judge J.Q. Van Swearingern this morning. No objection to the continuance was offered by counsel for the West Penn company or the commonwealth and the court ordered that the case to over. Gafney is alleged to have appropriated money from the West Penn company while acting as their superintendent. Continuance was asked for because of the death of Joseph H. [middle initial was R.] Boger, father-in-law of Gafney. It was urged that Mrs. Gafney would be forced to attend the trial of her husband on the day of her father's funeral her presence being necessary as a witness." There may have been of this family the names of John, Mary, Rebecca, Samuel and Joseph. This son was probably of Joseph. Also Joseph had a daughter, now Mrs. Emily Gaffney at Woodlawn, Pa. See also Miss Bess B. Boger, Teacher. John Gibson Boger, is R.F.D. No. 27, Vanderbilt, Pa. and is the young man taking care of the old folks who are his uncle and aunts. John Gibson Boger's wife is Elizabeth Boger. Mrs. Jennie Beardsley, a widow, is at 1116 W. 5th St, Hastings, Nebraska.
