Pearl Wingrove - Born in Marshfield, Missouri to parents
Jacob and Susie Meyer. Graduated from William McKinley High School, St. Louis, Missouri. Pearl met her husband,
Arnold Wingrove, in St. Louis while he was serving in the Navy. They settled in Arnold's home town Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They have two sons and two granddaughters. Pearl worked as a secretary for the Federal Government for her entire career. Arnold's career took the family to Long Island, New York and Dover, New Jersey. They currently reside in a beautiful Golf and Country Club Community in Bradenton, Florida. Pearl has been writing poetry and stories for twenty years, having been published in many anthologies, receiving numerous Editor's Choice Award, also in newspapers and GRIT magazine. She is a Distinguished Member of The International Society of Poets, having received first prize for "Nature's Beautiful Seasons" in their magazine, The Poets Corner Summer 1996 issue. Song "Bangels and Baubles - Diamonds and Pearls" published in A.L.S. anthology On The Road 1999. Jeff Roberts Publishing Company currently in the process of promoting her songs "September, September" and "Send a Message in a Bottle." Successfully marketed her self published book, Gems of Pearl: Miracles, Dreams, Poems and Things. Pearl feels that the ability to write poems and songs are a gift for which she is eternally grateful.
