BRADFIELD - SAGE
On
Saturday afternoon, May 5th, a very pretty spring wedding was solemnized
at the parsonage, Straffordville by Rev. D. D. Gaynor when Freda
Myrtle, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sage of Mabee
became the bride of Gerald Lynn Bradfield, oldest son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Bradfield of Staffordville. The bride was very
sweet, gowned in blue silk crepe, large blue hat and sand kid shoes, her
bouquet was pink carnations and snapdragons. The young couple was
attended by Mr. Russell Sage brother of bride and Miss Doris
Bartlett of Straffordville, prettily attired in sand crepe with grey
accessories. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of
the bride's parents. The rooms were pretty in their color scheme of pink
and white streamers and spring flowers. A buffet luncheon was served by
two girl friends of the bride - Misses Alta Ball and Alta
Green. Later in the afternoon the bride and groom left fo Welland
and Niagara Falls. On their return Mr and Mrs. Bradfield
will be at home to their friends on the groom's farm south of
Staffordville.
