I have info on Frederick Wingrave which is Thomas's son and it is out of the family bible. Frederick Wingrave is my gr grandfather the
dates that we have for him don't match up with the dates that we found for the shipping records for him coming in to
Australia.
The family bible says that Frederick Wingrave was born on 31st of January
1849 at Bedfordshire and his wife is Elizabeth Ellen Wingrave, nee Thomas.
Frederick married Elizabeth E Thomas, 08/06/1887,Wesley Church,
Ballarat, Victoria, Australia
The shipping records have him being born in 1846. I don't know how correct the family bible is but it doesn't match up. I can't
remember where they got the family bible from because i just got it given to me to
attempt to do the family history because my aunt on my mothers side is
researching it.
Thomas Wingrave m. Elizabeth Eyles, 04/06/1844, St.Leonards,
Shoreditch, London.
Their children were:
1.Alice, born 14/08/1844, ch. 20/09/1844,
St.Mary, Luton, Bedford;
2.Frederick, b.30/01/1846, ch.25/02/1846,
St.Mary, Luton, Bedford;
3. Sydney, b.1855, Richmond, Victoria,
Australia.
Thomas died 11/07/1902.[from family bible]. Oral family tradition says he was the son of Thomas and
Frances Wingrave, of Luton, Bedfordshire.

I am curious about your Timothy Guinon. Do you happen to know his middle name? My Timothy's
middle name was Joseph. Does that ring a bell?

(nee
Corkett)
I am new to all this so please bear with me. My sister bought me a family research book for
Xmas therefore my interest was started from there. The main reason for my interest was
because my sisters and I were the end of a line of Hitchin CORKETT's. I have so far
ascertained that my father Gerald Corkett the only child of Leonard Corkett born 1907, who was
one of seven (so far) was born of
Emily Wingrave
and Joseph Corkett (Married in Hitchin in 1890). I am now stuck as I do not know who were the parents of
Joseph Corkett and if he had
any brothers. If this is of any interest to you please feel free to email me.

Looking at your submission to ancestry.com you seem to have done a lot of work on the
Cumberpatch family from Northamptonshire.
I have picked up a lot of information pre 1800, but am having difficulty linking the records I
have found to the one individual that is key to me - Priscilla Cumberpatch who married
Thomas Freeman in Kingsthorpe in 1805.
Do you have any information that may help me?
Added
Sept 2003
This lady caused me a
problem for a while, until I realized that she was not born Priscilla
Cumberpatch at all - she was the widow of Stephen
Cumberpatch. She was born Priscilla Harrison. I attach family
record sheets for her with the information I currently have. I
have not researched back on the Harrisons yet as I have not
been back to Northampton since I sorted out the relationships.
Hope this is of some help to you, anything that you have that may
be relevant to my family would be gratefully received.
Mary Ann
I am a friend of one of your many distant cousins, Jean Smith. She is the great
granddaughter of Anna (Annie) McDonald, who married Levy (Levi ?)
Dack.
She wants to learn about the history and genealogy and location of history of the
McDonald side of her family. Anything you could provide would be welcome. She knows that
Levy and Anna had a son Harry Dack. She does not know about siblings of Harry's but Harry married
Kathryn Isabella Fitzpatrick and they had Anna Mae
Dack. Siblings of Anna are Betty, Thomas, Robert,
Bonnie, Marge. Anna married 1st Joseph Romancky and had 2 children:
Thomas and JoAnn, divorced and married my friend Jean's dad,
Eugene Lucas. Jean is the eldest and then Sally.
Any further info would be appreciated.
