William Cusick bought the 100 acres of land in the east half of Lot 15 Concession 1 Nassagaweya in 1839 and added the west half of the tract in 1868. These 200 acres remained as one lot lot with the exception of a 1/4 acres lot in the north-east corner that had been sold in 1855 to Peter Little who operated a store for a short time in that location. This 1/4 acre lot was to see many owners over time.

William Cusick married and his wife Ann had 7 children:
        1.  William Cusick Jr married Amelia Carton 
             and stayed on the family farm
             They were to have 7 children as well:
            i.  William Cusick moved out West
            ii.  Henry Cusick also moved out West
           iii.  George Cusick who married Kate Donaven
           iv.  Norman Cusick moved to the American West
           v.  Rose Cusick married William Reid and settled in Acton
          vi.  John Cusick married Christina Turner
          vii.  Albert E Cusick married
Margaret Ruth Wingrove Bowman

Daniel Wingrove & Elizabeth Gunstone]

     
2. Annie Cusick married Jeremiah Dion
      3. James Cusick
      4. Mary Cusick married H Ford

    William Cusick Sr died at the farm in 1878 at 67 years of age
    predeceased by his wife Ann in 1876 also at 67 years of age.  
        
The original 200 acres less the Peter Little acreage was sold by the Cusick family in 1927 to Ducan Campbell. Most of this became known as part of the Campbell Farms until sold in 1960 to a German syndicate.
