The following guidelines pertain to materials submitted to WINGROVE WORLD WIDE. Additional information is also contained in  the PRIVACY POLICY

The Webmaster retains the right to determine what is posted to the Internet to form part of this Resource for WINGROVE researchers. As a submitter you retain editorial control to accept the Web Page constructed by the Webmaster from the material submitted or to suggest alterations or changes.

There is no need for you to know anything about Web Page production. The Webmaster will format the material for viewing on the Internet. Surface mail submissions, emails or faxes can also be used to submit materials

Material that can be submitted will vary in form as well as format. Please inform the Webmaster of Intended Submission Materials before sending such materials; attachments to email are normally not opened from unknown sources. 

Text can be sent as Email or in a variety of word processor formats. Photocopies or scanned documents/photographs can be sent as an attachments in any of these formats: jpeg, gif,  cdr,  bmp, tiff
 
Large quantities of text or graphics can be uploaded to the Internet without any special software. Indeed any amount of information can be submitted in this manner rather than using email quotas.

              GENERAL GUIDELINES REGARDING FORMAT
            & METHODS FOR SUBMITTING MATERIALS

• Submitted material is judged on its relevancy to Wingrove researchers.
  
  There must be some connection to a Wingrove line or of a general importance to genealogy researcher.
  
  
• WINGROVE WORLD WIDE respects the privacy of the living and the ancestors of any family line.
  
  Personal information on living relatives will not be published to the Internet. Birth dates etc will be retained in my personal database to aid identification of individuals. 
  Any material posted to the Web can be reviewed by the Webmaster if a visitor expresses concern about any information posted
  
  
• Submitted materials remain the Intellectual Property of the Submitter.
  
  Information submitted for posting to WINGROVE WORLD WIDE as one of the Web Pages, can be removed at any time. An email to the Webmaster is all that is necessary. A return email is intended as a confirmation of identity not a request for explanation as to the removal notification.
  Data entered into the Gedcom database can not be removed without impacting upon the integrity of the database. 
  
  
• Material will not be posted to the Internet that promote any form of Racism, Religious Beliefs, Life Styles nor Nudity
  
  
• As a submitter of material you must have ownership or copyright for the material, or written permission from the copyright holder or their heirs.
  The Webmaster may ask for proof of this ownership or copyright.

      WHAT  YOU  CAN SUBMIT

[1]   WINGROVE THINGS Diaries, letters, manuscripts , anecdotes, ancestry or pedigree charts, advertisement, photographs, scans, photocopies, even your .ged information can be entered and added to the database. You will still retain the rights to any of the material sent and it can be removed if you change your mind or wish to keep it elsewhere [Only exception is information added to the database- removal is a too complicated process]. Only such things pertaining to the WINGROVE surname or of a general interest will be considered for publication

[2]   Tips and tricks for surfing the Internet, Computer software or applications, sources of information or free stuff, reviews of such sources, email or website providers. All information will be credited to you, or blamed on you if permission to do so is given.

  REASONS FOR SUBMITTING  MATERIALS

           Submission to WINGROVE WORLD WIDE allows information on the Wingrove surname to be archived in a single site, rather than spread across the Internet. The site also offers some degree of permanence to your information.

This is the only Web Site dedicated to the WINGROVE surname and more search engines categorize the site every day. By posting or submitting information to this site you can obtain valuable contacts with others searching the WINGROVE name in your geographical area.

Satisfaction in documenting the WINGROVE presence in the world is my only driving force in this endeavor. The hours of work in maintaining this site is a labor of love, and not one determined by monetary gain. Information is not being collected with the intent of producing hard copies of the data in any form such as books or CDs

None of your information will ever be sold by me.
