---------------------------------------
Regarding Frances
1- Fronica was the German name for Fannie, or Franny or
Frances, and her parents probably (since they were German) followed that
rule of thumb.
2- Her name was given as Fronica in the newspaper announcement of the birth of her son Levi.
3- On her second marriage her name was given as
Mrs. Fanna Rahn.
Several details regarding her second husband, things have come up as "Michael"
Saltzgiver, where I have found her living in the census but thought it was her brother in law...
In the Adams Co., PA newspaper called the "Compiler" on October 20,
1840, the announcement was referred to as Mrs. Fanna Rahn to wed
Michael Saltzgiver
