  He might be a descendant of John Rimel son of Susannah and Presley Irwin.


Joseph M. Rimel 
   Son of John and Sarah Rimel was born Nov.2, 1893 in Lower Tyrone Twp. 
   John brother of Gilbert connection this would be Gilbert's nephew.

Ada May Rimmel daughter of Frederick and Anna Rimmel was born Sept. 10,1893 in Upper Tyrone Twp.
  I think she does belong just not sure to who.. 
  The location and time period seem right....

James Rimel, son of Harvy & Patty Rimel was born April 17,1895 in California PA.
 I do not know if this is a connection or not.... 

Sarah A. Rimel daughter of John and Sarah E. Rimel was born May 7,1896 in Bullskin Twp. Fayette County, PA. 
   John brother of Gilbert 
   Sarah  Gilbert's niece.

Minnie Grace Rimel, 
  Daughter of Louis & Hester (Bee) Rimel was born March 5,1883.
  I do not know about this one I have not run across either of these names
  as of yet.....
