This is the family as I understand it
starting with me:
 1. Larry & Carrie Gatt Furman,
 2. Charles & Anna Geary Furman,
 3. George & Amy Wilson, Vera Vernice Livingstone Firman,,
 4. Usual Ogden Furman married Martha Wingrove,
 5. James & Lucy Jones Wingrove,
 6. Charles & Sarah Houser Wingrove.

Charles's wife Sarah Houser was born about 1784, she passed away Friday, Oct. 29th 1852, Leap Year. Charles Wingrove passed away Sunday, Oct. 30th 1853, they were both buried in Flamboro, Ontario, Canada. Charles's son (Charles) James (Jr) Wingrove (Martha's father) was also born in England and spent many years as a fisherman, later he took up farming at Nassagawega, county of Halton, Ontario, Canada. Later he moved to Walsingham where he remained the rest of his life. Lucy and James Wingrove are buried there. I believe James Wingrove was the first Wingrove family to settle in Walsingham and today there are many descendants from the 'five' Wingroves that first came to Ontario.
I am told it was from James and Lucy's family of 11 children. five of them lived in Mersea Township.
William Wingrove lived there in 1871, his daughter Betsy married John Toyne of Mersea Township, and Sarah Wingrove married William ManeryCharles Lovel Wingrove married Eliza Tester from Walsingham and left that place in 1867 to move to Mersea Township where he bought 50 acres of land on lot 18, concession 2, which was all dense wilderness at the time and the nearest neighbor lived a mile away.

Wingrove History given to me by Alfred Collison of Leamington, Ontario,

Martha (Nee) Wingrove Furman's grandfather Charles Wingrove came to Canada in the year 1831 and was followed by his family in 1832. By the late 1830's six Wingrove brothers had left England to live in Canada, all settled in Ontario. Our great grandparents Charles & Sarah (Nee) Houser) Wingrove settled in the Township of Flamboro East where they farmed and lived out their lives and both are interred in the old Methodist Cemetery near Mountsburg. Their son James who first farmed at Nassagaweya then moved to Walsingham, after his brother George had also settled there.
Our great grandmother Martha Furman came from a large family that was made up of eleven children that I know of. Five of the eleven children moved to Mersea township.
Charles Lovell Wingrove being the first one to do so. Following Charles was his brother William, sisters Mrs. Sarah Menary, Mrs. Elizabeth Toyne, and our great-grand-mother Mrs. Martha Furman. All these families had settled in what was called then the South Bush, it was renamed the Hillman Settlement as we know it to-day. Charles and Eliza (Nee Tester) [check spelling] Wingrove only daughter named Martha, married Wm. Mooney, son of Michael & Lavica Mooney. Sarah Menary's daughter Lucy Jane Menary mrd. John Mooney, brother to William Mooney. John and Lucy's daughter Lavica Mooney mrd., Merle Girardin, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Nee Oper) Girardin, they being father and mother to Evalena (Nee Girardin) Livingston my great step grandmother. Mother to Mrs. George Henry Firman (Vera Vernice Livingstone). Evalina is a niece to George Maxon Girardin and his wife the former Bertha Lorena Furman a sister to George Henry Firman (Furman). From the family of John & Betsy (Nee Wingrove) their son Jack mrd. Gustie Ribbell, Gustie's brother Scott Ribbell mrd. Victoria Girardin's a sister to Joseph and Max Girardin. After the death of Adam Oper, brother of the widow of Adam Oper and a sister to Joseph, Max, Victoria Girardin, this was a second marriage for both Jack and Theresa.
James and Lucy Wingrove were the father and mother to above five Wingroves who lived in Mersea Township. James and Lucy farmed in Walsingham and both are interred in the old cemetery at the end of the 6th concession east of Walsingham.

I have down that Usual Firman son of Abraham & Hanah Furman was born Dec. 16th 1850 in South Bush, Mersea
Twp. He died September 11th 1922 in South Bush. Martha Wingrove  was born Jan 21st 1844. She died June 28th 1901

Ron Girardin has been very helpful to me in sorting out this lineage.  I still have the Sheeler, Pepper and Wilson families to work on. As the time goes by I keep adding and updating my family tree.
