Regarding my husband's great- great grandfather George Bartlett Dench.
I have found this family on the 1881 Canadian Census on Familysearch.org and George B. and Louisa are listed as born in Canada and English. Other children are : Martha Louisa, Lualla Rosa, and my husband's great grandfather, George Ernest Dench. Clara is listed as Clarissy Florince and William F. as William Barthe.

There is another Clara A. Dench daughter of John G. Dench and Arvilla
also on the 1881 Canadian Census.
Maybe these were a niece and nephew of George B. .

George Ernest Dench married Daisy Weld and had two children:
Thelma b 1898 and
Robert Ernest b 1900
They were divorced when Robert was 1 and he moved to New Orleans, LA and married three more times.
I have other information on George B., George E. and William Dench obtained from a directory in Pittsburgh around the turn of the century.
George E Dench appeared in 1899-1900 Directory, as a bicycle rider living at 81 Arlington Avenue, Allegheny City (today's Pittsburgh North Side). In 1900-01, he is a 'heater' (a steel mill job, I believe), listed as living at 508 Arlington Avenue, Allegheny City. In 1901-02, there is a George (no middle initial) Dench, a heater living at 208 East Ohio Street in Allegheny City. In the few years following, I did not see a George nor George E Dench.
However, there is George B and William or William B (Barthe ?) Dench who appear regularly, as early as 1895-94 (could also be found in earlier years?), working as a laborer and living at 2 Corry in Allegheny City. In this year there is also a Charles R Dench, stenographer, wife Jennie, living in Pittsburgh near Wyoming Ave or St, George B and William also appear in 1899-1900 (laborer/teamster) both living at 154 Jackson in Allegheny City; in 1900-1901 and 1901-1902, living at 417 Jackson in Allegheny City.
In the Directories labeled 1902 and 1903. George E Dench does not appear, only George B and William Dench, living at the same address. In 1916, a randomly chosen years, George B and William B (chauffeur) and also Rose A, all live at 27 Campbell Way.
I would like to know the name of George Bartlett Dench's parents and when they all immigrated to England.
