My mother was the adopted daughter of Reginald Joseph Wingrove (b.1908 and d.Oct.14,1967 in London Ont. He is buried in St. Peter's cemetery there.
His wife was Dorothy Mary Filer b.Dec.4 1902 in London England and d. Sept. 28 1982 in London Ontario also in St. Peter's cemetery
They adopted three children, Betty Bernice (my mother), Carole Francis b. August 26 1936 d. Oct 24 1983 London Ont. St. Peters Cemetery and Nicolas David.
I have found some discrepancies and blanks in some of the information regarding the following areas which I hope I can be helpful. My information comes from an old family bible and newspaper clippings passed on to me.

* Dorothy Filer's parents were 
    Arthur Filer  d.1923 and Mary Ann Starling
* Wallace Wingrove and Mary A. McIntosh 
   were married on Jan 17 1877.
*George W. Wingrove 
   m. Mary Jane Fearnley Jan. 15 1850
*The following children birth dates should be 
   Whitfield Sept. 3 1853, 
   Henry Apr.28, 1855, 
   Melancthon Aug 9 1856, 
   Ermina Nov 12 1858, 
   Algar Nov 16 1860, 
   Eliza Jan 17 1864 and 
   Sarah Jan 7 1866.

I have a clipping for a death of a Stewart Wingrove (b.1915 d. Mar 5 1995) buried Mount Pleasant cemetery, survived by wife Peggy, 5 children and a sister named Muriel (Wingrove) Jenny. Also predeceased by a son Charles (1983) He lived in the Port Rowan/ Walsingham area.
I also have a notation of a Frank Wingrove (1881-1954) m Samantha Watts (1884-1969) 

Just to wrap up, I'll give you more about myself. My name is David Chanda, the son of Betty (Wingrove) and George Chanda. I am 40 married with two children and live west of Port Dover Ont.
