Mrs. Rose Marion Manning aged 79 years, widow of Alfred
Manning died Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at her home 1003 South Third avenue. She was taken ill a week ago
with a heart condition.
Mrs Manning was born in Langton Ontario on September 13,
1860 and had been a resident of Alpena for 55 years.
Surviving Mrs. Manning are four children, Mrs Bert Cannell
of Saginaw, Glenn Manning of Detroit and Thomas and Edna
Manning at home, and two sisters, Mrs Susie
Mathews, Alpena
and Miss Ada Wingrove of Utah.
Funeral services for Mrs Manning will be held at the Williams
funeral parlors Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will
be in Evergreen Cemetery [Alpena MI]
