Obituary -
Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, February 9, 2008,
Kenneth Earl Corr, of Delhi, formerly of Walsingham and
Courtland, at the age of 72 years. Born in Stamford
Twp., Welland County on October 13, 1935. Dear son of
the late Harry Alexander Corr, and the former, late
Nettie Neal. Loving husband, and best friend of
Rosemarie (Woolley) Corr. Predeceased by his first wife
Mildred (Myke) (1992). Father of 5 girls, Sharon Corr,
RR5 Langton, Elaine Corr, Aylmer, Linda (Jim) Carl, RR1
Walsingham, Margaret (Mike) Carrier, RR5 Langton and
Hazel Kinsella and friend Lorne Lucas, Cultus. Proud
grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Allan (Linda) Corr,
British Columbia, Beulah Wilson, Forrest, ON. Also by
several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister,
Mary Lou and by 4 brothers, Cecil, Richard, Gerald and
Carl. Dear step-father of Roseanne (Sterling) White,
Delhi, Debbie (Barry) White, Langton, David (Maryanne)
White, Delhi and 7 step-grandchildren and 1
great-step-grandson. Resting at the VERHOEVE FUNERAL
HOME, 40 Queen St., Langton, where service will be held
in the chapel, on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at 2:00
p.m., by Rev. Mary Hyatt, of Walsingham United Church.
Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham, Ontario.
Memorial donations (by cheque only) to Camp Trillium
(Rainbow Lake) or choice, would be appreciated by the
family. Public visitation, 2 hours prior to funeral
service at 2:00 p.m. (12:00 – 2:00 p.m.) will take place
on Wednesday, February 13, 2008.

tree.
Gilbert John OXLADE (1901-1990)
husband of Ivy WINGROVE (1906-1938)
This evening I discovered that indeed Gilbert's parents
were James OXLADE (1869-0000) and Elizabeth STRATFORD
(1863-1911).
James was the son of James OXLADE and Ellen WOODS a different Line from
the James OXLADE and Deborah GOODALL whom you show on your
RootsWeb World Connect site.

William W. Wingrove 03/27/2008
William W. Wingrove, 84, of Footedale, Pa., passed away
Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in his home with his loving
family by his side.
He was born November 9, 1923, in Dunbar, Pa., son of the
late John Wingrove and Seville Hughes Wingrove.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
wife, Grace
Frost Wingrove, his son, Daniel Wingrove, granddaughter,
Susan Murfree and nine brothers and sisters.
Bill was a retired inspector for the Pennsylvania Department
of Transportation in Uniontown, a veteran of the United
States Navy, serving in World War II, a member of Fayette
Masonic Lodge No. 228 F.&A.M., the Lodge Scottish Rite
Bodies in Uniontown, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7023
and The Izaak Walton League of America. Bill loved to farm
his land on the Footedale Road.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Lynne Kerbel of
Elmore, Ohio, Sharon Mershon of Uniontown, Pamela Leichliter
and husband, James of Franklin, Pa., Paula Moore and
husband, Larry of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Billie Jaramillo
of Uniontown; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Donna Lang and
husband, Bert of Live Oak, Florida.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem,
today, March 27, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, March 28,
2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 29,
2008, until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev.
James R. Leichliter officiating.
Interment will follow in White Rock Cemetery, Hopwood-Fairchance

OBITUARY:
The Dunlap Reporter Ardis McDonald Cook September 26, 2003
Ardis McDonald Cook, 90, of St. Louis Park, Minn., died on
Sunday, September 21, 2003.
Graveside memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday,
September 26, 2003 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dunlap.
Memorials may be given to the Fairview Hospice or the Billy
Graham Association. Ardis married Leroy Cook on June 10,
1931 in Dunlap. The couple lived on a farm near Dunlap for a
few years. They then moved to Omaha, Neb., where Leroy
worked as a mechanic and in a bomber plant during World War
II. After the war they moved to Powell, Wyo.
In 1952, the family moved to Minneapolis, Minn., where
Leroy, Ardis and Virginia attended Northwestern Bible
College. They accepted a call to be the Pastor and wife of
Bible Baptist Church in Helena, Mont. They later moved back
to Minneapolis to serve at the Suburban Baptist Church.
Ardis also worked for the Billy Graham Association for 25
years. She was a wonderful Pastor's wife, mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She will be greatly missed.
Ardis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy
Cook; grandchildren, Brent Starke and Linda Nelson.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Velie, Carol and
Duane Starke and Keith Cook; five grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister,
Jean Kirsch and many other relatives and friends.
Geraty-Delmore Funeral Home in St. Louis Park, Minn., and
Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap handled the arrangements.

SANDUSKY
Jack Wingrove, 56, of Sandusky, went to be home with the
Lord, Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in Firelands Regional
Medical Center, Main Campus, following a lengthy
illness.
He was born Nov. 15, 1951, in Ashland, Ohio, to Eldon
Wingrove and Bonnie (Chance) Coble. He attended Mapleton
High School in Ashland. Jack married Linda Mullins, June
12, 1976, and she survives. He was employed by Ashland
Rubber Co. for a short time, and most recently worked
for several years as a custodian for First Presbyterian
Church in Sandusky.
Jack was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He
enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved camping. He
loved playing games and spending time with children. He
was a foster parent to many children. Jack was a veteran
of the U.S. Army, and a past member of the Sandusky
American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda
(Mullins) Wingrove; brothers, Richard
Wingrove and Robert (Raylynn) Wingrove,
both of Alabama, Kenneth Wingrove of
Florida, and Scott Coble of Ashland;
sisters, Diana (Dennis) Rolesten,
Cheryl (Perry) Tanner and Cindy (John)
Hines, all of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon
Wingrove; mother, Bonnie (Chance) Coble;
and a brother, James Wingrove.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in First
Presbyterian Church, 265 Jackson St., Sandusky; the Rev.
Kimberly Secrist Ashby will officiate. Arrangements by
Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian
Church or the American Lung Association. Condolences may
be sent at grofffuneralhomes.com.
