            A MARIA WINGROVE is listed in the 1850 Census Return for Ohio Co WV as part of the Thomas Nice family and living next door to Isaac Wingrove.  The return provides a birth date of 1790 and a place of birth as New Jersey

There is much controversy in determining the children of Mariah Blue and John Wingrove, from 11 children to the four listed by Denise. The age difference for the John Wingrove selected and Mariah also brings into question the 'John Wingrove' attached to this marriage - Webmaster
