Steven D. Wingrove, 41 of Champion, died unexpectedly, Sun. Feb. 23, 2003 at his home.

He was born July 10,1961 in Connellsville, a son of Theodore and Donna Jean Williams Wingrove of Connellsville (PA).

Steven had been a resident of Champion since 1990. He was a graduate of the Connellsville Area High School with the class of 1980. He was a former employee of McLaughlin's Plastering and a former employee of Seven Springs Resort in Champion.

In addition to his parents Steven is survived by his girlfriend of 16 years Pamela Striker of Champion, 4 brothers Roger L. Wingrove and his wife Jacqueline, and Robert A. Wingrove and his wife Vickie, all of Connellsville, Thomas G. Wingrove of Normalville, and Marcus H. Wingrove and his wife Amanda of Connellsville, a sister Sherry C. Greenawalt and her husband John of Connellsville, and his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Matthew, Trudy Lynn, Robert Jr., Sheena, Christopher, Thomas Jr., Marcus Jr, Micah, and Meaghan Wingrove, John Jr., Jean Ann, Rebekah and Mary Greenawalt, and Ashley Walters.

Family and friends will be received in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc. 111 E. Green St. Connellsville Wed. and Thurs. from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held Fri. at 11:00 AM , in the funeral home, with Rev. Evelyn Stillwagon officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
