ATHENS - Ruth "Kit"
Young, 55, of Canann Township, Athens, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, April 20, 2003, at her home.
She was born July 26, 1947, in Wood County, a daughter of the late
Manford Earl and Ina Winrick Wingrove. She was a 1967 graduate of Rome Canann High
School and was employed at Best Photo and Nashville Photo as a color correction reader and film cutter.
She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Young; one daughter,
Katherine Young of Athens; one son, Richard Young of Fort Still, Okla.; four grandchildren,
Rachele, Brahoon and Jacob Young and Michelle Marshall; one sister,
Sue Blanton of Ashland, Ky.; four brothers and their spouses, Frank and
Evelyn Wingrove of Athens, Robert and
Eleanor Wingrove of Little Hocking,
David and
Betty Wingrove of Newark, Ohio, and
Jim Wingrove of Pomeroy; and one daughter-in-law,
Annette Young of The Plains, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Riggs, and one brother,
William Wingrove.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the South Canann Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Monte McCune with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.

Ethel Elizabeth “Betty” Wingrove

A funeral service for Ethel Elizabeth “Betty” Wingrove, 59, of Newark, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Carr officiating.
Mrs. Wingrove, a specialty clerk for Meijer, passed away Jan. 7, 2008, at her residence. She was born Aug. 6, 1948, in Bangor, Maine.
Mrs. Wingrove was a 1966 graduate of East Corinth Academy in Maine. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an Elvis memorabilia collector and enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, David Edgar Wingrove, whom she married Aug. 13, 1966;
children, David (Melinda) Wingrove II, of Mansfield, Tammi Wingrove, of Newark, and Douglas Wingrove, of Newark; two grandchildren, Jacob and Lillian Wingrove, both of Mansfield; three sisters; and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen (Wain)Buckley; and one brother.
