AKEHURST, Mary Lucinda Wingrove -

96, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 13th, 2002.  She was the wife of Colonel Jack Akehurst (deceased) and beloved mother of Donald Akehurst and Joan (Silk). Her position as cherished grandmother of Debbie (Silk), Susie (Burgin), Suzanne, Stephen and Jonathan Akehurst and special great-grandmother of Sammy and Olivia Burgin gave her a continual source of joy and love.  Mary will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton (705-426-5777).
